Generator Maintenance and precautions



1. Periodically wipe the generator, remove dirt and grease.
2. Check the belt tension (Ch. 1).
3. The generator bearings are sealed and do not require lubrication throughout the service life of the unit.
4. Connect the generator to the battery, observing the polarity pins. When performing welding work on the car disconnect the generator from the battery. Start the engine from the charger is prohibited.
