Charge system verification
1. Before testing failed system battery fully charge the battery. 2. Check all cables and connections. 3. Make sure the test lamp is lit after turning on the ignition. 4. If the lamp is not lit, check the lamp. To do this, disconnect the wire from the generator output SL, and the output L connect to weight. Turn on the ignition and when the lamps still do not lit, the bulb is faulty or wiring. If the lamp is lit, it is defective or the alternator or voltage regulator. Attach the wire to the SL and connect the brush with a mass of (photos, See below.) If with the ignition warning lamp lights up, the controller is faulty, otherwise faulty generator. Replace the failed unit. 5. If you turn on the ignition warning lamp lights up, then start the engine and set to idle. The lamp should go out. Otherwise, replace the generator. 6. Bring the engine speed to 1500 rev / min and turn on the lights. If the warning light is dim, check the voltage between terminals B and L of the generator. If less than 0.5 V, replace the generator. If the headlamps indicator lamp is not lit, Check the voltage at terminal B, without reducing the engine speed (make sure you have correctly connected with the output S). If the voltage exceeds 15.5 V, replace the voltage regulator. 7. If the headlights are turned on at idle test lamp illuminates, replace the generator.
