The voltage regulator and brush replacement
1. Remove the generator 2. Remove the 4 tie bolts on the back cover (see photo). 3. Remove the two screws and nuts, and remove the cover. Slightly pristuknuv, detach the front cover with the rotor. 4. Remove the 5 nuts on the back cover and remove the stator (photo). 5. Check the length of the brushes and replace if necessary. Before soldering pull the brush 11 mm and carefully solder terminals in the specified places (photo) at the end of the loop wire (wrapping wire on one coil). 6. To replace the controller, proceed as follows (pegulyator removed only to the need to replace). a). Disconnect the regulator from the rectifier, which Unsolder O and remove the rivet (photo). Recommended first unsolder stator leads from the rectifier. b). Disconnect the regulator from the brush holder to remove the solder and then pull out the pins with pliers. at). When installing a new regulator carefully (mild stroke) press-fit pins Solder all connections and riveted by setting a new rivet. 7. Build and install a generator in reverse order.
