1. Remove the drum and the brake pads (see. Subpart 10.10). |
2. Clamp the brake hoses. |
3. Unscrew the valve 10 (see. Fig. The wheel cylinder of the drum brake) venting. |
4. Remove with a screwdriver protective caps 1 and 8. |
5. Remove the cylinder from the housing 5 two pistons 2 and 7 with the brake sleeves 3 and 6 and the spring 4. |
6. Rinse with water and detergent, and all the details of the cylinder and to dry them. |
7. Inspect the working surfaces of pistons and cylinders. |
A warning At presence on working surfaces of the piston and cylinder for wear, nicks, and jamming to replace the wheel cylinder set.

8. Wear on the pistons 2 and 7 new protective caps 1 and 8, having greased with their brake fluid. |
9. Wear on the pistons 2 and 7 new brake cuff 3 and 6 in the groove on the piston, having greased with their brake fluid, and the sealing lips must be directed into the cylinder. |
10. Insert the pistons 2 and 7 by a spring 4. The body 5 of the wheel cylinder. |
11. Insert the edge of the protective caps 1 and 8 in the correct position on the body 5 of the wheel cylinder. |
12. Install the brake pads and the drum (see. Subpart 10.10). |
