Check the thermostat valve

The valve 13 (see. Fig. Air filter engine displacement of 1.1 and 1.3 L) controls the thermostat valve. When a faulty valve may be disruptions in the engine idling in a warm-up mode, interruptions by increasing the speed, lack of engine power, increased fuel consumption. Check valve on the cold engine. The flap thermostat should rotate easily without binding.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove the filter, without disconnecting hoses 9 and 24.
2. Start the engine and leave to idle
3. Disconnect the hose 24 from the valve 13. The flap thermostat must shut off the warm air.
4. Attach a hose to the valve 24. The valve 13 is to turn around and open access to warm air.
5. Disconnect the hose 24 from the valve 13. The valve should turn and block the flow of warm air. If it does not, then the valve is defective and must be replaced.

On the warm engine, depending on the ambient temperature, the access of hot air may be completely or partially blocked.
