Replacing fuel level sensor



Fuel tank

1 - the fuel tank;
2 - clamp on the fuel tank;
3 - a bolt of fastening of a fuel tank;
4 - loading pipe;
5 - the bolt of the inlet pipe;
6 - a ventilation hose of the fuel tank;
7 - a collar;
8 - the plug;
9 - gravitational valve;
10 - spacer ring;
11 - plug fuel tank;
12 - sealing filler;
13 - a hose;
14 - a tube Backleak;
15 - a nut of fastening of the gauge;
16 - the gauge of level of fuel;
17 - the fuel line to the fuel pump;
18 - the nut of the valve;
19 - air valve;
20 - a wire from the fuel filler tube to the "masses";
21 - a sealing ring;
22 - expansion tank

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. To disconnect a wire from "the minus" plug of the storage battery.
2. Remove the trunk floor mat and remove the cover over the fuel level sensor.
3. Disconnect from the sensor 16 terminal block with wires.
4. Disconnect hoses 14 and 17 from the sensor 16.
5. Unscrew the nut 15 and remove the sensor from the fuel tank 16.
6. Remove the O-ring 21.
7. Set the sensor 16 with a new O-ring 21. Turn the sensor so as to align the mark on the sensor and the fuel tank.
8. Tighten the nut 15.
9. Connect hoses to the sensor 14 and 17.
10. Connect the electrical connector block.
11. Install the cover in the trunk floor mat and trunk floor.
