Removal and installation of the fuel pump



Elements of the power supply system

1 - Spacer fuel pump;
2 - O-ring;
3 - a bolt of fastening of the fuel pump;
4 - the fuel pump;
5 - a collar;
6 - a hose from the filter pump;
7 - the fuel filter;
8 - a hose from the fuel to the filter;
9 - the fuel;
10 - a tube Backleak;
11 - a hose from the tank to the drain tube back;
12 - the fuel tank;
13 - a hose from the tank to the carburetor;
14 - carburetor;
15 - an arm of the fuel tank;
16 - a hose from the pump to the reservoir

At engines working volume of 1,1 and 1,3 fuel pump is mounted on the right side of the cylinder head and is actuated by a cam on the camshaft. At engines in working volume of 1,6 and 1,8 l the fuel pump is mounted on the left side of the cylinder, close to the oil filter bracket and is driven by the intermediate shaft.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Disconnect from the fuel pump 4 hose 6 and 16.
2. Unscrew the two screws 3 fastening of the pump and remove the pump 4.
3. In order to ensure that the pump is OK or not, you need to connect to it toplivoprivod from the fuel tank, then repeatedly press the lever of the pump. If the pump by pressing the lever to spill fuel, then pump defective.
4. Place the pump in reverse order. The pump does not disassemble or repair; If the pump is faulty, it must be replaced.
