Refitting

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. To disconnect a wire from "the minus" plug of the storage battery.
2. Pour about half of the liquid from the engine cooling system (see. Subsection 2.4.1).
3. Remove the air filter (see. Subsection 3.1.2).
4. Disconnect the accelerator cable from the carburetor.
5. Disconnect the coolant hoses from the carburetor (if any).
6. Disconnect electric wires from the carburettor, fuel and vacuum hoses.
7. Remove bolts and carburetor mounting nuts to the exhaust and remove the carburetor. Remove the carburetor gasket.

Install the carburetor in the reverse order. When installing the carburetor gasket replaced.

Disassembly and assembly

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Pull the lever of the accelerator pump.
2. Remove the carburetor cover bolts to the housing and remove the cover 18. Remove the gasket 14.
3. Remove the shaft 15 of the float, remove the float 16 and remove the needle valve 22.
4. Remove the main fuel jet 17.
5. Remove the fuel jet 20 and idle fuel jet ekonostata 19.
6. Remove the automatic trigger 23.
7. Remove the accelerator pump 8.
8. Remove the solenoid valve 5.
9. Remove one element heats.
10. Remove the accelerator pump dispenser 26, unscrew the spring 27 and the ball valve 28.
11. Remove the screw 4 adjust the quality of the mixture and the screw 7, adjust the amount of the mixture.
12. Remove the economizer 6 power state.

All parts carburetor gasoline wash, the presence of heavy tar deposits rinse the parts in acetone or solvent for nitrovarnishes. It is forbidden to clean the jets wire, even soft, so as not to disturb the calibration. Washed items and channels of the carburettor blow compressed air. Replace torn gaskets and O-rings, and defective parts.

Assemble the carburetor in the reverse order.

Dismantling and assemblage of carburettors of other models is similar. When assembling the carburetor must take into account the following:

The carburettor Pierburg / Solex 1V3

Check for a faulty solenoid valve 5 (see. Fig. Carburettor parts 1V3) can be connected to the terminal 12 in the power valve and connecting the valve body to "weight". Pin valve has to be drawn at 3-4 mm.

When installing the fuel pipe check clearance "a" between the end of the tube and the surface of the choke, it should be 0.7-1.3 mm. If the clearance is different, carefully bend the tube.

Carburetors Pierburg / Solex 2E2 and 2E3

When installing the accelerating pump nebulizer it must be positioned so that fuel gets into the recess.

The carburettor Pierburg / Solex 31R1S-7

Check for a faulty solenoid valve 12 (see. Fig. Carburettor parts 31R1S-7) can be, drowning pin valve 3-4 mm. Then connect the terminal to the valve 12 and the valve body to connect to "weight", in this case should be heard crackling and the pin must be pulled out.

If the carburetor equipped with the fuel cutoff valve (such as valve 17), it can be checked in the same way as the valve 17.
