Egnition lock




A warning

Remove the key from the ignition switch only when the vehicle is stationary! Otherwise it may be involved in the course of the steering lock.

In order to prevent uncontrolled rolling vehicle, when the vehicle you should always apply the parking brake firmly.


Gasoline engines

1 - Ignition off / engine off.

2 - Ignition on.

3 - Start the engine.

Diesel engines

1 - Fuel supply blocked / engine off.

2 - Turn on preheating and position while driving.

During operation preheater no other electrical appliances - large consumers of power should not be included. Otherwise it will be too heavy load on the battery.

3 - Start the engine.

For all vehicles:

Position 1

To lock the steering Turn the steering wheel with the ignition key removed before the click is heard locking the locking pin steering.

If after removing the ignition key is not turned off lighting devices or turn signal, then, as soon as the driver's door open, the buzzer will sound a buzzer type.

Position 2

If the ignition key is difficult or impossible to turn in this position should be a little push steering wheel left and right - then unlocks the steering!

Position 3

In this position the headlights are switched on the parking lights, turn off the other large consumers of electricity.

Before each new attempt to start the engine, you must return the ignition key to position 1. Locking device restart starter placed in the ignition lock prevents the starter when the rotating crankshaft of the engine and thus protects the starter from damage.

Lock key is removed from the ignition lock

On vehicles with automatic transmission key after switching off the ignition will be able to take out only when the selector is in position "P".

When you remove the ignition key selector is locked in this position.
