The cooling fan

The cooling fan is driven by a motor through a belt with ribs. The fan speed is regulated visco-coupling depending on the coolant temperature.

In addition, depending on the model established by the engine and the vehicle (for example, the presence of an automatic transmission mounted on a factory trailer coupling, air conditioning system) in the cooling system of the engine can be an additional electric fan with automatic control.

A warning

After stopping the engine fan can for some time (up to 10 minutes) to rotate - also after switching off the ignition.
The fan stops can also after some time suddenly again begin to rotate if:

- The coolant temperature rises because of the temperature drop in the engine;
- When the engine is hot, increase the temperature in the engine compartment due to the intense solar radiation.
