Dismantling of a primary shaft



The left side of the input shaft is in the clutch housing, the right - to the transmission housing.
To disassemble the input shaft should do the following:
Pulling out tapered roller bearing with a sliding sleeve and the inclusion of the fourth transfer gear

- Set the end of the input shaft with the respective pressure plates under the press, and the corresponding pressure plates - in the groove of the sliding sleeve, as shown in Fig. 183. Press the end of the shaft. Wherein the inner ring are lowered down (see. Fig. 182), tapered roller bearing, the sliding sleeve 15 and the fourth transmission gear. Remove synchronizer ring;

- Remove the tension with the thrust ring 13. It is quite large. With his withdrawal to act very cautiously. The ring is pushed by special pliers, as shown in Fig. 184. That it is not bounced, substitute the hand. You can protect the palm with a thick layer of rags;

- Re-install the shaft under a press and press out the switching hub;
- Remove the tension with the thrust ring 11, remove the ring 10 and the synchronizer gear 9 to include a third transmission shaft. Remove the needle bearing shaft 7 8;
- If necessary, removed from the synchronizer hub 25 springs 22 and 26, and then remove the stopper 23. The three-nave and the sliding sleeve need to install complete.
