Dismantling differential
To disassemble the differential, proceed as follows:
| Fig. 203. Wiring diagram without differential satellites: 1 - gearbox housing; 2 - Compensation washer; 3 - an external ring of the bearing; 4 - tapered roller bearing; 5 - the drive wheel; 6 - a box of differential; 7 - the safety pin; 8 - a speedometer drive; 9 - tapered roller bearing; 10 - ring of the bearing; 11 - Compensation washer; 12 - clutch housing; 13 - Rivet; 14 - Rivet; 15 - driven gear; 16 - nut 70 Nm
|
- Knock spring pins 7 (Fig. 203) from the axis of satellites (if they exist) and clear the axis of the differential housing. If the design of the driven gear is attached with rivets, then unscrew the two corners; - Remove the differential gear and a separator. Round nuts semi-axes gear does not turn away, except in cases where the thread is damaged; - Remove the differential bearing puller with two grippers; - If necessary, remove the speedometer drive on the same side (insert a chisel and gently striking it, disconnect);

|
- Driven gear is attached with rivets to the differential housing, so it is necessary to drill out the rivets using a drill diameter of 12 mm, indicated in Fig. 204 side, and then clear the remnants of rivets. Disconnect gear, hitting it, or navigate through the drive wheel differential box. Still being assembled parts clear of chips, which are formed by cores; - If the gear are pressed in a hot state, it should drive out of the differential housing after heating to 120 ? C. When the caution should be exercised, as the hot parts (leather work gloves).
