Determining the status of candles

Candles impeccable condition. The thermal insulator cone is covered with a weak, mostly powdery bloom from gray-yellow to brown. On the electrodes without the surface erosion, powdery deposits of gray-yellow to brown. The inner surface of the housing is covered with a light coating or yellowish brown to dark brown. The engine is operating normally. Heat range spark is correct.
The candle is covered with soot. Heat the cone insulator, the electrodes and the inner surface of the body covered with thick enough powdery velvet touch of black and gray. The reason - too rich mixture, insufficient intake air electrode gap is too big, very high heat rating, and candle in a working condition is too cold. To exit from this situation to establish candles with different heat range.
Candle zamaslena. Heat the cone insulator, the electrodes and the body are covered with oily soot candles with oily sheen. The formation of oil sludge. The reason for this lies in contact with the engine oil into the combustion chamber as a result of wear of the cylinders and pistons, and valve stem seals.
Overheating candles. The heat insulator is covered with a touch cone dark brown to gray-black color, composition or vitreous sintered roughened and at the end of the heat cone is usually thick crust and beads. The electrodes, especially central, amazed by corrosion. Mostly rough surface, corroded or swollen. The reason for this can be considered too lean fuel mixture, spark plug Loose, badly closing valves or spark is too low heat range, so that it heats up strongly.
