High-voltage transformer






The transformer is installed instead of the ignition coil. It is shown in Fig. 126. Clips "1" and "15" are in the transformer shown in the figure on the ground. Like the well-known ignition coil, you can check the resistance of the primary and secondary windings, before changing transformer. Primary resistance measured between terminals "1" and "15" should be 0.5-1.2 ohms. Secondary resistance measured between terminals "4" and "15" should be 3-4 ohms. Fig. 126 shows the location of terminals on the transformer.
