Installation of the clutch

Installation of the clutch is carried out in the reverse order of removal. Particular attention should be paid to the following:
- If you set the previous grip, it is necessary to align the position of the marking, marked during removal. With this saved balancing the clutch and flywheel. New clutch bolts can be fastened in any way, as its static balancing is already done in the manufacture;
- Centering chuck is used for centering the drive plate. This mandrel must engage the drive plate and having a pin that is suitable in size for the entry into the crankshaft bearing (Fig. 139). You can also use an old shaft gearbox. Experienced mechanics can center the leading disk and "by eye";

- Tighten the clutch crosswise until 20 Nm. Only use special screws. Here again it is necessary to fix the flywheel. Service Center Volkswagen used for this purpose shown in Fig. 139 tool for locking flywheel;
- Set the engine or the gearbox (see. The appropriate Div.).
