Technical condition and clutch repairs
To control the clutch parts must be: - Check the clutch pressure plate and cover for damage or deformation. If damaged parts are replaced, both complete; - Check the reliability of the connection of the spring clutch drive plate and make sure the disc pads are worn not by much. Since the cleaning of contaminated oil clutch linings is not possible, drive plate must be replaced; - Check the clutch lining for possible re-use, which measure with depth gauge distance from the pad to the end of the rivet. If the amount is less than 0.30 mm, the disc must be replaced. The disc must also be replaced if the size is close to the specified value; - To check the clutch leading to the beating of their clamped after setting a suitable size mandrel or shaft coupling between the support centers of the lathe. Set dial gauge by using a suitable fixing next to the disk so that the probe tip against the edge of the indicator disc, namely to its outer edge (Fig. 136)

. Slowly scroll disk and to determine the reading dial gauge. If the reading is greater than 0.4 mm, the disk, if desired, can be carefully straightened with a pair of pliers, without damaging the lining. Otherwise, replace the disk; - Check the fit of the hub drive plate clutch splined crankshaft. For this implant drive shaft and take up the outer edge of his hand, holding it between thumb and forefinger. Move in the direction of rotation of the disk, providing pressure on him in one direction and then the other. If the gap is more than 0.4 mm - wear in the slots. The reason lies mainly in the deterioration of the drive plate; - Check the inner ends of the disc spring for wear. If traces of deep development, replace the housing assembly with the pressure plate.

The ends of the disk spring should be at the same elevation within a tolerance of 0.5 mm. Bent ends can be corrected. It usually uses a special tool; - Check the flatness of the friction surface pressure plate clutch. To do this, attach a line to the surface of the friction clutch pressure plate, as shown in Fig. 138, and measure the gap with the help of probes. If the gap is within 0.3 mm, it is necessary to replace the clutch.
