Switch, controls the fan, is screwed into the side wall of the radiator. When removing the radiator to operate the described method. If the car is equipped with air conditioning, the further the work and indicated at the end of this subsection. To remove the heat sink, do the following: - Disconnect the battery, as with the ignition fan wires are energized; - Drain the cooling system as described in Section. 4.1.1. Unscrew expansion tank cap to improve the flow; - Remove the left headlamp (see. Sec. "Electrical Equipment"); - Remove the grille as described for dismantling the engine; - Disconnect the wires from the pins and the thermal switch of the fan motor; - Loosen the clamps the upper and lower water pipes, disconnect the hose from the radiator and pull them to the side, avoiding bending. Clamps may be either worm gear or springs. Clamps with a spring-mounted wire cutter to cut and replace the side cutter-worm type clamps; - Remove the front part of the engine bonnet; - Unscrew the left and right nuts radiator. Fig. 100 shows a diagram of mounting of the radiator; - Remove the radiator up and forward. Try not to damage the radiator cell. If necessary, disconnect the fan motor from the front end. Fig. 100 shows how the fan mounted thereto and a housing. If the car is equipped with air conditioning, it is necessary to carry out the following additional work:
A warning Never break the tightness of the refrigerant circuit in the air conditioning system. |
- Remove the front bumper fascia; - Unscrew the fixing collars highways refrigerant in the air conditioning system. Always ensure that there is no stretching, bending or deformation of the pipes and hoses; - Condensing detach from the radiator tank and move it as far as possible in advance; - Disconnect the heat sink and pull it forward; - Fasten suitably condensing tank without allowing tension pipes and hoses. When installing the radiator need to pick it up in the car, set in the correct position and fasten with screws. Replace the hoses coolant and fix their collars. Insert the connector into the appropriate connector pin and thermal switch of the fan motor. Attach the wire to the terminals of the battery. Fill with coolant as specified in Section. 4.1.1. Take a test-drive the car and to check the fan off and on, and make sure that the hose connections in places no leaks.
