Setting
Installing the steering is carried out in reverse order with the following; - Seals during the installation of the steering mechanism should be lubricated with soapy water (dishwashing detergent). Check cleanliness of the sealing surfaces. Pay attention to the fact that the seal 16 (see. Fig. 239) puts the mark TOP upwards;

- Set the steering mechanism on the chassis; - Lift the frame and at the same time introduce a universal joint of the intermediate shaft engages with the small gear. This assistant must operate the lifting device to ensure the engagement; - Install the four mounting bolts of the steering mechanism and tighten crosswise to 30 N ?� m after planting reliable steering. It is necessary to ensure that the seal is securely adjacent to the strip and it was closed the hole in the body. - The nut on the universal joint is replaced by new self. Tighten the bolts to 30 Nm; - Establish the correct position subframe and tighten the bolts to 50 Nm then tighten them another 90 ?�; - Connect tie rods to the steering lever. Screw new self-locking nuts and tighten to 30 Nm; - After installation to check alignment of the front wheels and adjust if necessary, as described in Section. 10.5.
