First, work must be carried in the vehicle. It is necessary to remove the pedals located above the glove box. To do this, squeeze, both indicated in Fig. 244 of the spring clip in the direction of the arrow, fold down glove box and pulled back, remove it. After that, turn away in indicated in Fig. 235 ground screws and remove panel:

- Unscrew the screws panel 1 (Fig. 236) and remove it. Thus available universal joint of the intermediate shaft. Remove the bottom of the hinge pin screw;
- To fix the power unit in a suspended position on the lifting device. In the absence of such, you can use the vehicle jack;
- Remove the wheel covers, loosen the screws and hang the front part of the car, setting it on reliable support. Unscrew the wheel bolts and remove the wheel;
- Unscrew the self-locking nuts securing ball joint tie rod and remove the ball with the help of a stripper fingers tie rod from the steering knuckle, as shown in Fig. 237;

- Remove the wire to the Lambda sensor, mounting;
- Disconnect the exhaust pipe, as shown in Fig. 238;

- To disconnect a cable shift mechanism from the gearbox and the mount on the other side (see. Fig. 213);

- Disconnect the balancer suspension transmission;
- Loosen the steering box bolts and unscrew them;
- Substitute a stretcher jack and unscrew the bolts of the subframe;
- Slowly lower the sub-frame on a jack. Disconnect from the steering intermediate shaft and pull sideways. At the same time, check that the connection is not jammed slots (or twisted). On the steering mechanism installed seal Tagged TOP (top), it should be taken into account during installation.
