The filling of the hydraulic system

After removing and installing the steering system must be filled with liquid Dexron mark and then remove it from the air. The filling volume of the system is approximately 0.7-0.9 l. Liquid ejected during the dismantling, again, you can not fill. The filter should be replaced every time you change the steering fluid or replacement. It is necessary to respect the following order:
- Unscrew the tank cap with a screwdriver. Dipstick is connected to the stopper;
- Filled with liquid to the top of the tank of the hydraulic booster;
- Several times to start up the engine for a short time. The entire system is filled with fluid;
- During this process, the liquid level in the tank drops rapidly, so the liquid must be constantly topped up. When this level is below the required number. To control the level of the liquid carefully wipe the dipstick and screw the cap back tank. It should be wrapped to the end to get a true reading. Again, unscrew the cap and remove the fluid level reading. If the fluid is cold, the level should be about Min tags on the dipstick or up to about 2 mm above or below it (Fig. 253). The tank must never be empty, since otherwise the system will get a large number of air;

- Termination of the fall of the liquid level means that the system is full. The liquid level should never be above a label ?MAX?;
- Wrap the tank stopper.

Note
If the fluid level is monitored during normal maintenance, then this operation can be conducted in hot (over 50 ? C) liquid. In this case, the fluid level should be between the ?MIN? and ?MAX? on the dipstick. If the level exceeds the label ?MAX?, that some of the liquid to be pumped by syringe. In the absence of a liquid system to verify nagermetichnost, since the operation fluid should not flow out.
