The engine number is composed of an alphabetic code word corresponding to the sequence of the engine and the serial number is stamped on the engine block (Fig. 2) at the thermostat housing. To quickly determine the number of the engine, it is necessary to look at the upper side of the protective sheet of a gear belt.
