Factory identification label with the model designation is under the hood of the car next to the holder of the bonnet at the place indicated in Fig. 1. Number is stamped on the bulkhead of the air filter.

The engine number is composed of an alphabetic code word corresponding to the sequence of the engine and the serial number is stamped on the engine block (Fig. 2) at the thermostat housing. To quickly determine the number of the engine, it is necessary to look at the upper side of the protective sheet of a gear belt. On the label situated therein are given letter code designations and serial number. Non-body and engine stamped on the rating nameplate model designation of the vehicle. It should be remembered that the original number must be stamped on the engine block. In addition, the transmission embossed letter code mark, by which the transmission is selected to the engine.
