Coolant temperature sensor zhidkostsi
The coolant temperature sensor is a resistor whose electrical resistance varies depending on temperature. A resistor disposed within the sensor has a negative temperature coefficient of resistance, i.e. when heated, its resistance decreases. High coolant temperature reduces the resistance of the sensor, and the low - it increases. Coolant temperature control unit calculates the voltage drop on the coolant temperature. On the cold engine the voltage drop is large enough and the engine is warm - low. Based on these values, the computer calculates the injection pulse duration, respectively, which will be more when the engine is cold, the amount of air in the mixture, ignition timing and idle speed. The temperature of the coolant used in most motor control functions.
