Installation of the timing belt
When installing a new belt can be dispensed with redlining (see. ? 3.7.3). Installation toothed belt none of pistons must be in the TDC valves may otherwise strike the pistons. Put the toothed belt on the toothed pulleys crankshaft, camshaft and intermediate shaft. When installing the timing belt, avoid it kinking. Adjust the tension of the timing belt as follows:
| Fig. 150. Check of a tension of a gear belt
|
- Allen wrench, turn the tensioner pulley in the direction shown in Fig. 150, thereby pulling the gear belt; - Check toothed belt tension: it is considered normal if in the middle of the branches between the pulleys of distributive and cranked shaft belt is twisted by 90 ? (see. Fig. 150); - Tighten the nut on the tension wheel torque 45 Nm; - Rotate the crankshaft two full turns and check that the belt tension is not changed; - Set the upper and lower protective cover of a gear belt and pulleys; - Adjust the tension on the serpentine belt (refer to. Sect. 3.8);
| Fig. 151. Mounting support the engine mount (on the front side of the engine): 1 - the bolt 55 Nm; 2 - bolt 20 Nm; 3 - Clamp the engine mount
|
- Tighten by hand and tighten the screws 1 and 2 (Fig. 151), mount the engine mount support the following points: - 1 bolt 55 Nm; - Bolt February 20 Nm; - Avoid excessive tension the timing belt, as this significantly reduces the service life; - Set gear (if removed), tighten the bolt (pre-lubricated it), tighten to 90 Nm and then tighten the bolt a further 90 ?. The engine should thus be fixed in a stationary state.
Note When installing the crankshaft gear bolt of its fastening must be replaced with a new one. |
