Replacement switches



Overview


Removing the switches in the console

The switches on the console can be removed using a pocketknife. To do this, insert the blade into the slot on the side of the switch (Fig. 10.60). Carefully slide the switch to the outside, as a lever.

NOTE
To avoid damage, if necessary, use a protective plate.

Replacing ignition

The procedure for replacing the ignition:
1) Remove the cover of the steering column (3 screws);

2) Remove the retaining screw behind the ignition switch (Fig. 10.61);
3) disconnect switch connector;
4) Reassemble in reverse order;
5) Check the operation.

Replacement
light switch

The switch is located on top of the dashboard and secured to the inner side latches. This switch also switches are low beam headlamps, headlamp adjustment and incorporating fog lamps.
The procedure for replacing the light switch:

1) Remove the two screws at the bottom (Fig. 10.62);
2) Disconnect connectors;
3) Press the four latches and remove the switch;
4) Assemble in reverse order.

Switch Replacement
stoplight

The switch is located on the pedal.
The procedure for replacing the brake light switch:
1) disconnect the connector;

2) Remove the switch to the left (Fig. 10.63);
3) press the switch, so that he went into the clip until it stops (the pedal must be released);
4) Connect;
5) adjust, turning and turning back the switch.

NOTE
Brake lights should light up when you move the pedal 5 mm

Switch Replacement
rear light

Operation is for models equipped with a manual transmission.

2) Assemble in reverse order of removal;

A WARNING
Be sure to install the new seal!

3) Check the oil level in the gearbox.

Replacement switches
center console

The procedure for replacing the center console switches:
1) switch off the ignition;
2) Remove the lower trim console on the right side;
3) press the switch unit from the bottom up;
4) disconnect the connector;
5) remove the switch;
6) reassemble in reverse order.

The procedure for replacing the warning light switch:

1) Remove the heater control knob using a small screwdriver by pushing the rear of the handles (Fig. 10.65);
2) Remove the front panel (insert your fingers into the holes and gently pull it);
3) unscrew the two screws (torx) in the upper part;

4) Pull the fan grill and lift it with a small screwdriver (Fig. 10.66);
5) Press the latch and pull out the screwdriver panels panel slightly forward;

6) press the two latches and remove the switch back (Fig. 10.67);
7) disconnect the connector;
8) reassemble in reverse order.

Switch Replacement
trip computer

The procedure for replacing the switch trip computer:

1) Remove the heater control knob using a small screwdriver by pushing the rear of the handles (Fig. 10.68);
2) Remove the front panel (insert your fingers into the holes and gently pull it);
3) Remove the four screws (torx);
4) remove the base of the console (press gently on the edge of a screwdriver);

NOTE
To remove the base of the console, first pull out the tape recorder forward a few centimeters.

5) Remove the screw behind the base of the console and pull forward a bit console;

6) press release latches behind the switch (Fig. 10.69);
7) reassemble in reverse order.
Switch Replacement
sunroof

The procedure for replacing the sunroof switch:
1) remove the cap ceiling light switch compartment, lifting the edge of a small screwdriver;

The spring switch is not locked in place.

2) remove the switch with a small screwdriver (Fig. 10.70);
3) Assemble in the reverse order of removal.

NOTE
To install, remove the switch Courtesy light (to ensure good contact of the plug connector).

Remove the switch using a small screwdriver.

Replacing the automatic switch
lowering the glass in the door

The procedure for replacing the relay automatically lower the window in the door:
1) remove the door trim on the driver's side;

2) Remove the relay latch and disconnect the connector (Fig. 10.71);
3) Assemble in the reverse order of removal.

Replacing Control Module
fog lights

The procedure for replacing the control module fog lamps:
1) Remove the instrument cluster;

2) Remove the top two screws of the instrument cluster (Fig. 10.72);
3) remove the control module.

NOTE
At the rear fog light is located in this place relay that fixed bracket.

wiper

The procedure for replacing the wiper switch:
1) Remove the cover of the steering column (3 screws);

2) Remove the retaining screws from the switch (Fig. 10.73);
3) remove the switch and disconnect the connector;
4) Assemble in the reverse order of removal.

Switch Replacement
direction indicators

The procedure for the replacement of the switch of indexes of turn:
1) Remove the cover of the steering column (3 screws);

2) Remove the fixing screws of the switch (Fig. 10.74);
3) press the lock;
4) remove the switch and disconnect the connector;
5) assemble in the reverse order of removal.

recycling

The procedure for replacing the air conditioner switch, rear window defogger, recirculation system:

1) Remove the heater control knob using a small screwdriver by pushing the rear of the handles (Fig. 10.75);
2) Remove the front panel (insert your fingers into the holes and gently pull it);
3) remove the PCB behind the front panel. First, the upper mounting plate 1 and then the lower mounting board 2;

NOTE
PCB replace only in gathering.

4) Assemble in the reverse order of removal.

Fan

The procedure for replacing the fan switch:

4) Remove the heater control knob using a small screwdriver by pushing the rear of the handles (Fig. 10.76);
5) Remove the front panel (insert your fingers into the holes and gently pull it);
6) Remove the four screws (torx);
7) Remove the base of the console (press gently on the edge of a screwdriver);

NOTE
To remove the base of the console, first pull out the tape recorder forward a few centimeters.

8) Remove the screw in the base of the console (Fig. 10.77) and slightly pull forward the console;
9) Disconnect the connectors from the switch;

ATTENTION
Do not disconnect connectors radio.

10) Tilt the unit heater down;
11) remove a power strip with a switch axis;

12) press the four retaining clips and remove the switch by sliding it back (Fig. 10.78);
13) assemble in the reverse order of removal.
