Parking brake



Withdrawal

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Remove the rear console.
  1. Remove the adjusting nut and remove the parking brake cable.
  1. Remove the parking brake switch.
  2. Remove the parking brake lever.
  3. Remove the wheel.
  4. Remove the brake drum.
  5. Remove the brake pads.
  1. Disconnect the parking brake cable from the lever on the brake pads.
  1. Remove the clamp securing the parking brake cable sheath to a brake board.
  1. Loosen the clamp on the parking brake cable and remove it from the vehicle.

Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Check the operation of the parking brake switch.
  2. Check the parking brake lever ratchet for wear.
  3. Check the parking brake cable for wear or damage.

Setting

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Check the markings on the left and right parking brake cable and install in its place.

Identification color:

Left: Red
Right side: Yellow

  1. Move the parking brake lever on the brake pad all the way back and install spring.
  1. Install the parking brake cable in the direction shown in the figure.
  1. Lubricate the recommended grease the ratchet and pawl ratchet parking brake lever.
    Recommended lubricant: SAE J310, NLGI ?��2.
  2. After installation, adjust the compensator move the parking brake lever.

After positioning the compensator at a distance of 40 mm from the lever, pull the cables by hand and screw the adjusting nut in a position in which the parking brake lever stroke is equal to 8 clicks.
