Replacing bulbs car lighting system
Replacing bulbs Before replacing the lamp, make sure the switch is in the ?�OFF?� (?�Off."). In the following illustrations show how to replace the light bulb. When replacing, use only lights that have the appropriate capacity.

Head Lamp 1. Allow the lamp to cool down. 2. Hold the lamp by its plastic base and do not touch the hands of the glass bulb. 3. Unplug the power cord from the back side of the plastic base on the back of the headlight.
5. Press the spring and remove the bulb.
6. Remove the protective cap with a replaceable bulb and install a new bulb, aligning the hole with plastic base lamps. Fasten the spring bulbs, install a protective cover and connect the power cord (Fig. 1.186). 7. When disposing of an old lamp, use the protective cap and the carton. 8. Check the adjustment of the light beam headlights.
ATTENTION Halogen bulb filled with pressurized gas, in the case of the destruction of its bulb shatters many pieces, so the maintenance of lamps, always wear safety glasses. During lamp operation, protect it against scratches or grains, as well as contact with the surface of various liquids. Turn on the lamp only when it is installed inside the headlamp. In the event of damage to the lights or the appearance of cracks on it, replace the headlamp. Keep bulbs out of the reach of children and use care with the used lamp. |
Adjusting beam headlights
Before the adjustment beam headlights check tire pressure. All tires must have the same nominal pressure of air. Place the vehicle on level ground and repeatedly press on the front and rear bumper. Place the vehicle at a distance of 3000 mm from the wall on which the control screen. Make sure that the vehicle is not loaded (there is nothing except the spare tire, jack and tools, the full amount of the engine coolant, engine oil and fuel). Wash the diffusers headlamps and turn on dipped headlights. Open the hood. On adjusting the screen, draw a horizontal line and a vertical line (passing through the center of each headlamp). Then, draw a line extending parallel to and 30 mm below the horizontal. Using a Phillips screwdriver to adjust the boundary line of illumination beam headlights within the horizontal parallel lines. If in the body repair the front end of the car were replaced by headlights assembly, check the adjustment of the light beam headlights using a screen, as shown in Figure 1.188. Set the dimmer switch to low beam. Adjust the headlamp beam so that its own axis of the beam is parallel to the center line of the car body and coincide in the point "P" is shown in Figure 1.188. Dotted lines in the figure denote centers headlamps.
Designations ?�W?� - the distance from the horizontal center line of the headlamp to the ground: 656 mm. ?�L?� - the distance between the centers of the headlamps: 1 164 mm. The distance between the headlamps and the screen on which the checks: 3000 mm.
