Removing and installing sump



Withdrawal

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Disconnect the negative wire from the battery.
  2. Poddomkratte car and establish it on props.
  3. Remove protection crankcase.
  4. Drain the engine oil and remove the oil filter (Head of Adjustment and routine maintenance).
  5. Disconnect the exhaust pipe exhaust system from the exhaust manifold, and remove it from the hanger near the catalytic converter, lower the pipe down, leaving it hang freely.
  6. Remove the starter (Head System of an electric motor).
  7. Uncover the viewing window to check the status of the flywheel front of the transmission.
  8. Disconnect the oil level sensor (if applicable).
  9. Establish a jack under the vibration damper and lift it enough to take the weight off the engine mounts. To protect the damper, lay between him and the head of a jack wooden bar.
  10. Remove the bolts through the engine mounts and lift the engine far enough to provide working space sufficient to remove the tray of his housing.
  11. Mark the position of the stud bolts of the pallet.
  1. Mark on the sump position of its mounting studs for the purpose of proper installation of the assembly.
  1. Give fasteners (bolts / nuts for) the pallet and carefully separate pan from the engine block. If the pan "stuck with" Tap the gently around the perimeter of his hammer with soft brisk.
  2. Remove the tray by sliding it back.

  1. Carefully smooth out interfaced surfaces, removing all traces of the old gasket material.

  3. Prepare four guide pins of the bolts 1/4 inch (6.4 mm) to 1-1 / 2 inches (38 mm) long. Cut off the screw heads and hacksaw cuts in the ends of the slots.

Four guide pins used to facilitate installation of the oil pan can be manufactured from 1/4 bolts * 1-1 / 2 (in).

  1. Screw pins two bolt holes in the front cover and the two holes under the mounting tray 1/4 inches in back of the block.
  2. Attach the whole lining of the oil pan to the unit and the front cover, putting it on the guide pins.
  3. Having prepared a few bolts on 1/4 and replaceable face head, push the oil pan to the unit, and putting it on the guide pins. Immediately screw the prepared screws, tightening them by hand.
  4. Install all bolts 1/4 inches, remove the pins and screws are screwed in place.
  5. Install bolts 5/16 and tighten all fasteners pan with demanded effort, moving from the center outwards in several stages.
  6. The installation of the remaining components are produced in the reverse order of their removal.
  7. Make sure the drain plug tray was firmly tightened to the engine and fill the required amount (see. Specifications to the Head of Adjustment and routine maintenance) engine oil.
  8. Start the engine and check for leaks.
