A rotary fist and a nave of a forward wheel



1 - wheel nuts;
2 - wheel;
3 - a nut with a fillet;
4 - Front brake caliper;
5 - Disc;
6 - wheel speed sensor (vehicles equipped with anti-lock brakes - ABS);
7 - tie rod end;
8 - earring of the stabilizer;
9 - the ball joint of the lower arm;
10 - knuckle.

Checking the wheel bearing play

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Lift the car and fix on support. Remove the four wheel nuts and remove the wheel.
2. Remove the caliper and the brake disk.
3. Establish a measuring tip of a dial indicator on the end of the hub of the front wheel and, moving along the axis of the hub, measure bearing play. If necessary, replace the wheel bearing.

Maximum permissible backlash: 0,1 mm


Withdrawal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Lift the car and fix on support.
2. Remove the four wheel nuts.
3. Remove the wheel.
4. Peel back the fillet and turn away a nut of fastening of a power shaft to a nave and remove the two screws on the brake disc.
5. Remove the caliper and the brake disk.

A warning

Do not damage the dust cover.


6. Remove the cotter pin and loosen the nut trunnion ball joint tie rod to the steering knuckle. Stripper OK130 283 021 squeeze out a pin of the ball joint from the knuckle.
7. Remove the earring stabilizer bar from the lower control arm front suspension.
8. Remove the coupling bolt, mount wring out the bottom lever downwards and separate a pin of the hinge from a rotary fist.
9. Note the position and turn the bolts of the front lower arm to knuckle. Remove the steering knuckle and the hub of the front wheel.

10. Check the condition of all details and, if necessary, repair or replace the damaged parts.


Setting

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Install the steering knuckle and wheel hub, tighten the bolts to the bottom of the front suspension.
2. Establish a pin of the spherical hinge of the bottom lever in a rotary fist and fix a coupling bolt and nut.

Torque: 92-116 N ??? m

3. Install the brake disc on the wheel hub and secure with two bolts.
4. Install the front brake caliper to the steering knuckle and secure with two bolts.

Torque: 78-102 N ??? m


A warning

Do not damage the dust cover.


5. Establish a pin of the spherical rod end to the knuckle.
6. Screw the lock nut and cotter pin them from loosening.
7. Screw the new nut with a fillet and hammer in a nut fillet into the groove of the drive shaft.

Torque: 235,5-318,8 N ??? m

8. Establish a wheel.
9. Tighten the wheel nuts.

10. Freely screw nuts earring of the stabilizer, lower the car on the car standing on wheels, tighten the nuts.

11. Check the front wheels.
