Drive shaft with SHRUS tripoidnogo type

1 - a collar;
2 - ctopornoe ring;
3 - roller;
4 - tripoidnogo hinge housing;
5 - a lock ring;

8 - rotor sensor ABS (vehicles equipped with anti-lock brake system);
9 - shaft and ball joint assembly.

Dismantling

A warning

Replace the jaws pads and secure them in the hinge.

During operation, keep the joint dust and foreign objects.

Do not disassemble the ball joint from the wheel.

Do not wash the hinge, if he does not understand.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

	1. Lift the locking tab collar with a screwdriver and remove the clamp, using wire cutters.
A warning Be careful not to damage the protective cover.
	2. For proper reassembly put labels on the joint housing and the shaft.
	3. Special pliers, remove the retaining ring and hammer through a brass core bring down support rollers tripoidnogo connection with the drive shaft.
	A warning Deconstructing tripoidny hinge, be careful not to drop the rollers. Put labels on the hinge clips and then to assemble them correctly. Do not damage the rollers. When removing the bearing rollers tripoidnogo connection with the drive shaft, do not install a brass rod on the rollers.
4. Clean the support rollers tripoidnogo connection.
5. Remove the clamps and pull protective covers and the ball SHRUS SHRUS Birfield.
	A warning If the dust cover is to be reused, before removing the cover to protect the drive shaft splines wrap adhesive tape. Needlessly do not remove cover from the wheel.
6. Remove the rotor sensor ABS.
7. Check the condition of the drive shaft splines.
8. Check for signs of rust, water and foreign objects in the boot band
9. Check the support rollers tripoidnogo connections for wear or corrosion.

Assembly

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. The assembly is carried out in sequence, return dismantling taking into account the following.

2. Special adaptation set on the rotor shaft sensor ABS.

A warning

Case wheel side differs from the cover side of the differential.

3. Before installing the cover wrap to protect the drive shaft splines from tripoidnogo joint with adhesive tape.

4. Put grease in CV joints protective cover from the wheel and set the cover on the hinge.

Grease quantity: 90-110 g

5. Align earlier put labels and using the handset and a hammer, install tripoidny hinge.

A warning

Do not damage the bearing.

6. Use the special tool, set the lock ring.

7. Lay the grease into the housing and tripoidnogo hinge cover.

Quantity of grease:
INC: 165-185 g
AKP: 135-155 g

A warning

Do not damage or twist the cover.

Slightly lift the cover to release it from the air.

8. Measure the length of the drive shaft.

9. pliers straighten the collar.

10. Fold the clamp and tighten the clamp end.
