Repair knuckle



Rounded fist

1 - an oil sealing ring to (replace);
2 - the hub of the front wheel;
3 - a lock ring to (replace);
4 - wheel bearing;
5 - a brake board;
6 - knuckle;
7 - a directing bolt wheels.

Dismantling

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove the oil sealing ring of the front hub.

A warning

Do not replace the brake shield and the brake disk, if they are OK.


2. Set the special tool on the knuckle across the wheel and tighten the knuckle in a vise. To remove from the knuckle hub and brake disc assembly, rotate the bolt as shown in the figure.

A warning

Lightly tighten the bolt and nut to the part of the steering knuckle, which set the ball joint.


3. Lightly tighten the bolt and nut to the part of the steering knuckle, which set the ball joint.
4. Install the special tool OK930 331 A03 across the inner ring of the bearing wheel, hold the steering knuckle in a vise, and to remove the knuckle bearing wheels rotate the bolt as shown in the figure. Then remove with a fist puller.
5. A press with a mandrel corresponding diameter squeeze the wheel bearing from the steering knuckle.

A warning

Needlessly do not remove a brake board. If the brake shield is removed, do not use it again.


6. Needlessly do not remove a brake board. If the brake shield is removed, do not use it again.
7. The hammer and chisel bring down the brake shield from the steering knuckle.

A warning

Needlessly do not remove the guide bolts of the wheel.

If the guide wheel bolts were removed, do not use them again.


8. A press with a mandrel corresponding diameter squeeze out from the hub rail wheel bolts.

Assembly

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Check all the parts and, if necessary, repair or replace them.
2. A press with a mandrel of appropriate diameter hub in the press in the new guide wheel bolts.
3. Apply a new brake board label at the same place as on the removed brake board.
4. Align the new brake board with a label on the knuckle.
5. press with corresponding diameter mandrel press in the brake shield to the steering knuckle.
6. A press with a mandrel diameter of the corresponding press-fit the new wheel bearing.
7. A press with a mandrel of appropriate diameter zapressuyte hub.

A warning

Use a new oil sealing ring.

Establish a new oil sealing ring so that it is flush with the end of the knuckle.


8. A hammer and a special mandrel OK993 331 016, install a new oil sealing ring.
