Checking the ignition timing

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Warm up the engine and let it run at idle.
2. Set the gear lever to the neutral position.
3. Set the front wheels to the center position.
4. Turn off all electrical consumers.
5. Connect the connector stroboscope and special device KJ-1.
	6. Aim the strobe light on the crankshaft pulley and make sure that the label for setting the ignition timing on the crankshaft pulley (yellow) is aligned with a corresponding mark on the casing of a gear belt. Ignition timing: FE DOHC: 10 ?� 1 ?� BTDC T8 DOHC: 10 ?� 3 ?� to TDC
A warning There is no need to change the ignition timing.
7. Measure the rotational speed of the crankshaft of the engine idling. The frequency of rotation of the crankshaft of the engine idling: FE DOHC 800 ?� 50 ^min -1 T8 DOHC 800 ?� 50 ^min -1
A warning The frequency of rotation of the crankshaft of the engine idling supported automatically the engine control unit (PCM) through the electromagnetic valve of idling (IAS) and to adjust the speed at idle is not necessary.
