Activation of the fuel system




A warning

After removal of the pressure in the fuel system, the fuel system must be activated in order to avoid prolonged cranking starter when starting the engine.


PERFORMANCE ORDER


1. An additional wire connect plugs FUEL PUMP (the fuel pump) and In + a diagnostic socket.
2. Turn on ignition no more than 10, whereby the fuel pump starts to work and create the desired pressure in the fuel system. If the ignition is left on for more than 10 seconds, an additional wire will overheat. Check for fuel leakage from the fuel system.
3. Turn off the ignition and remove additional a wire connecting the terminals of the diagnostic socket.
