1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal. |
2. Remove the fuel pressure. |
3. Lift the car. |
4. Connect the measuring instrument OK2A1 about 131,110 A fuel filter. |
5. Connect the cable to the negative terminal of the battery. |
| 6. An additional wire connect plugs FUEL PUMP (the fuel pump) and In + a diagnostic socket. |
7. Turn on ignition no more than 10, whereby the fuel pump starts to work and create the desired pressure in the fuel system. |
8. Check the pressure in the fuel system.
Fuel pressure: 320-350 kPa
If the pressure exceeds the required values: - Check the cleanliness of the fuel return pipe; - If the fuel return pipe is clean, replace the pressure regulator. If the pressure is below the desired value: - Close the fuel return pipe, and check whether the pressure rises; - If the pressure increases, replace a pressure regulator; - If the pressure does not rise, measure the maximum pressure created by the fuel pump. |
9. Turn off the ignition and remove additional a wire connecting the terminals of the diagnostic socket. |
