Belt drive power steering pump



Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Check the drive belt power steering pump for cracks, deterioration and development. If necessary, replace a belt.
2. The special adaptation measure a belt tension.

Belt tension power steering pump and air conditioning compressor:
New belt: 491-589 N
The belt-hand: 422-497 N

3. In the absence of a special device, check the belt tension, having pressed on it effort 98 N (10 kg) in a place located on identical removal from pulleys and measure a belt deflection.

Deflection alternator drive belt
The new 8-9 mm
Second hand 9-10 mm

Tension

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Loosen the pivot bolt A, lock nut and nut in the bracket. Turn the adjusting bolt to adjust the belt tension.

Torque:
Bolt A: 37-52 N ??? m
Nut B: 37-52 N ??? m
Nut With: 37-52 N ??? m

Replacement

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Loosen the pivot bolt A, lock nut and nut in the bracket.
2. Turn the adjusting bolt, loosen the belt tension.
3. Remove the belt.
4. Install new belt and adjust the belt tension.
