Maintenance intervals Every 5000 km or every 6 months Engine: oil change. Every 10 000 km or every 6 months Engine Engine oil: Replace, replace the main oil filter. Engine: Visual check of tightness. Cooling and heating systems: Check the fluid level, the concentration of antifreeze agent. Visually check for leaks and contamination of the external radiator. Belts: Check the tension and condition of all belts and adjust if necessary. The air filter element: Check contamination and replace if necessary. Exhaust system: Check for damage. Petrol engine: Check idling and the maintenance WITH warm engine and adjust if necessary at engines without catalyst. Ignition system: Check the ignition timing and adjust if necessary. Transmission, drive wheels Manual transmission: Check oil level, top up if necessary. Housings hinges: check for leaks and damage. Clutch pedal: Check the clearance and adjust if necessary. Brakes, wheels and tires Brakes: Check the pipes, hoses and brake cylinders and connections for leaks and damage. Check brake fluid level, top up if necessary. Disc brakes: Check the thickness of the brake pads. Hand brake: Check the clearance and adjust if necessary. Tires: Check the profile depth and tire pressure; check the tires for wear and damage (including spare wheel). Wheel Nuts: Tighten to the required torque. Suspension and steering Tips of steering drafts: Check the play and attachment, check anthers. Steering: Check backlash, check out covers for leaks and damage. Servo: Check the fluid level, if necessary top up the hydraulic oil. Front and rear suspension: Visually inspect the suspension elements for damage. Electrical All current users: check the work. Lighting system: Check and adjust if necessary lights. Buzzer: Check. Wipers: Check wear rubber bands. Windshield: Check operation, check the adjustment of the nozzles, to add a liquid. Battery: Check the voltage and electrolyte level. Body Varnish, protective sealant bottom and preservation of cavities: Check, if necessary, updated. Every 20 000 km or once every 12 months Engine Diesel to 9/89 MY .: Replace oil filter bypass Gasoline Engine: Replace the spark plug. Injection engine: Set the throttle position sensor. Petrol engines: Replace fuel filter. Engine (designation E1, EZ, E5, OT, B5, B6 before 9/89 MY. PN): adjust the valve clearance. Cooling and heating: Replace coolant concentrate. Transmission, drive wheels Automatic transmission: Check oil level, top up if necessary. The differential and transfer case (all-wheel drive models): Check oil level, top up if necessary. Brakes, wheels and tires Drum Brakes: Check brake pads and drums Suspension and steering Front and rear suspension: Tighten the nuts and bolts to the required torque. Body Door hinges and locking plates: Coat. Seat belts: check if any damage, replace if necessary. The following work should produce an additional: Every 2 years Brakes: Replace brake fluid. Every 2 years or every 40 000 km The engine (model before 9/89 MY.): Tighten the cylinder head bolts. Engine: Tighten bolts of the intake and exhaust manifolds Engine: Replace coolant. Injection engines: Replace fuel filter. The air filter: Replace. The differential and transfer case (all-wheel drive models): replace oil. Every 4 years or every 80 000 km Manual transmission: Replace transmission oil. Every five years, or every 100 000 km Engine: Replace the toothed belt.
