| 1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal. |
| 2. Remove the spark plugs. |
| 3. Drain the coolant. |
| 4. Remove the air intake pipe. |
| 5. Remove the resonator. |
| 6. Remove the throttle cable and throttle. |
| 7. Remove the vacuum brake hoses, fuel hose, radiator hoses, vacuum hose cruise control system and heater hoses. |
| 8. Disconnect all cables from the head. |
| 9. Remove the bolts and nuts of the water pipe. |
| 10. Remove the water pump pulley and the drive belt. |
| 11. Remove the air intake and fuel line. |
| 12. Remove the intake manifold. |
| 13. Disconnect an exhaust pipe from the exhaust manifold. |
| 14. Remove the valve cover. |
15. Remove the timing belt cover and distribution belt. |
| 16. Remove the drive belts power steering pump and alternator. |
| 17. Remove an arm of the generator. |
| 18. Remove the ignition distributor. |
| 19. Remove the screws power steering pump and position the pump side. |
20. Inspect the head and remove the parts prevent the removal of the head. |
| 21. Loosen the head bolts in stages over a quarter of a turn. Loosen the bolts in sequence of return sequence of a tightening. |
| 22. Remove the screws and remove the head. |
23. Inspect the head. |
