The top dead point

For TDC accepted the highest point in the cylinder which reaches the piston during the compression stroke.

Installation pistons at TDC is an integral part of many procedures.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Set the parking brake and turn off the ignition system, disconnect wires from the ignition coil. Unscrew spark.
2. Turn the crankshaft in a clockwise direction with a wrench as long as the slot in the crankshaft sprocket is aligned with the mark T on the plate synchronization.
3. Uncover the distributor plug and inspect the rotor, it must point to a label located on the distributor (the label indicates the location of the contact wire of the spark plug of the first cylinder). If the rotor is rotated by 180 ?, the piston means N1 is at TDC of the exhaust stroke.
4. Turn the crankshaft one full revolution (360 ?) clockwise. Piston N1 is at TDC compression stroke.
