Sump



Withdrawal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
2. Lift and fix a forward part of the car.
3. Remove the protective shields of the motor.
4. Drain the engine oil and remove the oil filter.
5. Remove the screws of the exhaust pipe connections.
6. Disconnect the exhaust pipe from the exhaust manifold.
7. The sump may be comprised of one or two parts.
8. If the pallet is composed of two parts, unscrew the screws at the rear of the gearbox and the engine crankcase and remove the rear portion of the pallet. Remove the remaining bolts and remove the pan.
9. Disconnect from the power outlet maslozaborny main bearing caps and remove it.
10. Remove the screws block covers.
11. Remove the covers.

Setting

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Clean the mating surface of the unit covers, oil pan and cylinder block.
2. Inspect sump, maslozaborny tube and thread bolt holes.
3. In all models, apply silicone sealant on the shaded surface of the cylinder.
4. In all models, apply silicone sealant at the junction surface of the block covers. Insert the bolts and tighten them to the unit.
5. The models apply silicone sealant at the junction surface of the oil pan. Insert the bolts and tighten them to the pan.
6. In all models, apply silicone sealant to the new oil pump gasket and the rear cover. Install the gaskets. Apply silicone sealant at the junction surface of the oil pan, install and tighten the oil pan mounting bolts.
7. Install the remaining parts.
8. Wait 12 hours to harden the silicone sealant, and check the operation of the engine.
