Exhaust manifolds




A warning

The engine must be completely cool.


Withdrawal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
2. Apply penetrating oil fastening the exhaust manifold.
3. Disconnect the oxygen sensor.
4. Disconnect the recirculation of exhaust gases from the rear exhaust manifold and cylinder head.
5. Twist the nuts securing the exhaust pipe to the front and rear exhaust manifolds.
6. Remove the bolts insulating boards of both collectors.
7. Remove the bolts securing the exhaust manifold to the cylinder head and remove collectors.
8. Examine the manifolds for cracks and other damage.

Setting

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Carefully clean joined surfaces of the cylinder heads and manifolds. Check the degree of deformation of the mating surfaces of the reservoir. If the deformation exceeds the permissible limits, the collectors must be machined in a specialized workshop.
2. Install the new pads collectors.
3. Install the manifolds and tighten the bolts and nuts collectors.
4. Install the remaining parts.
