Withdrawal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove the cylinder head cover, gas distribution belt and sprocket camshafts. If you remove the shafts from the front cylinder head, remove the ignition distributor (model 1997 and earlier model years). If you shoot the camshafts from the back of the head, then remove the inlet manifold.
A warning

Before removing the camshaft bearing caps, align the positioning pins shafts tagged on the end caps.

2. On the front of the cylinder head, align the dowel pin (A) exhaust camshaft with the mark on the end cap (B) and labeled with an asterisk sinhranizatsionnoy shaft (C).
3. On the back of the cylinder head, align the dowel pin (A) of the inlet camshaft with a label on the end cap (B).
4. Loosen the screws end caps shafts in stages (on 1/4 turns). Loosen the first two external bolts, and then the two internal (in the rear head and there is a bolt (B) to be weakened in the last turn.
5. Remove the camshaft seals.
6. Using the specified sequence, loosen in stages (on 1/4 turns) bolts of covers of bearings of camshafts (see. Fig. Sequence of easing of bolts of covers of bearings of camshafts (front cylinder head) and fig. Sequence of easing of bolts of covers of bearings of camshafts ( the rear cylinder head)).
7. Remove the cover and camshafts.
8. Fold the bearing caps in order.

A warning

If necessary, remove the valve lifters with a magnet. Fold the pushers in order. Hydraulic jacks (models 1997 and earlier) should keep upside in clean engine oil.
