The top dead point of the first piston
The top dead point - it is the highest point which reaches each of the pistons during engine operation. Generally it accepted for TDC highest point which reaches piston N1 at the time of the compression stroke. To establish the piston at TDC, set the gear lever in neutral, set the parking brake and block the rear wheels. To disable the ignition system, disconnect the wires from the ignition coil (see. Subsection 3.7.4.1). Remove the spark plug (see. Subsection 2.19). Model 1997 and earlier release Models 1998 Models 1998 are equipped with the ignition, does not include a distributor. PERFORMANCE ORDER | 1. To install the piston at TDC, remove the spark plug of the first cylinder and screw in its hole pressure gauge. | | 2. Rotate the crankshaft. When piston N1 will come nearer to TDC of the compression stroke, the meter will show the compression pressure. Continue turning the crankshaft until the slot in the crankshaft sprocket is aligned with the synchronization mark. |

All models PERFORMANCE ORDER | Once you have established piston N1 at the TDC, you can set the TDC (according to the sequence of work of cylinders) each of the remaining pistons, turning the crankshaft 120 ?. |
