Installation of the piston rings



PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Before installation, check the terminal and lateral backlashes of piston rings.
2. Install the top compression ring in the cylinder using a piston.
3. Measure the end gap of the ring. If the gap is too small, you can replace the piston rings or increase the gap, grind the ends of the piston ring fine needle files.
4. Perform the same procedure with all rings.
5. After checking and adjustment of the end gap, the ring can be mounted on the pistons.
6. The first set oil ring. First, install the expansion ring in the groove, then set the upper and lower oil scraper ring.
7. After all the elements oil ring, make sure that the top and bottom rings rotated freely.
8. Install the second compression ring with a special tool mark up.
9. Then set the top compression ring.
10. Do the same with the remaining pistons.
