Check the hinges of the front axle



PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Prepodnimite front car.
2. Illuminate the left and right lamp dust hoods hinge axis (7) and check for damage, and the look for traces of grease on the cuffs and around them.
3. Illuminate the left and right lamp dust caps Joint and check them for damage, thus pay attention to the oil traces on the cuffs and around them.
4. In case of damage of the dust cap, for safety reasons, replace the corresponding hinge with the dust cap. Penetrating dirt surely destroys the joint.
5. Check the backlash Joint upper control arm (6). To do this, press and pull force to the front wheel and at the same time feels a finger ball joint. If there is a gap, replace the upper control arm.

A warning

In conducting this test, the hinge must be unloaded (the car poddomkrachen).


6. Check the clearance of the hinge axis (7). To do this, click at the bottom (arrow) in the direction of the control arm (4).
7. To check the backlash in the workshop used a special tool. If there is a backlash, replaced by a simple hinge.
8. Check the rigidity of the fastening screws and a simple ball joint, but do not turn them.
