Checking the oil level in the power steering units

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove the drain plug and remove the cover from the receiver.
2. The oil level when the oil is cold (ambient temperature of about 20 ?� C) in the receiver must be between the "min" and "max".
3. If necessary, add oil to steering the company Mercedes-Benz N 000 989 88 03.
A warning

4. Check for porosity or damage O-ring on the cover.
5. Place the cover of the pump housing and secure it with the screw plug.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Place the vehicle on a level surface.
2. Check the oil level with the engine stopped.
2a. Open the cover and pull it together with the oil level indicator (2a).
2b. Wipe lint-free cloth that pointer and re-insert it all the way into place.
2c. Pull out the dipstick and read the oil level. It should be between the "min" and "max".
3. If necessary, top up hydraulic fluid, then use a clean funnel (60) and a fine-meshed sieve.
A warning

You can only use authorized by the hydraulic oil, for example, Mercedes-000 989 91 03/10.
