Power steering pump



For vehicles with ride height adjustment, and (or) with automatic differential lock is used tandem-steering pump. A tank with hydraulic fluid is above the pump. When working on the hydraulic unit must be carefully observe cleanliness: the slightest contamination in oil can cause malfunctions.

Withdrawal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. If present, remove the intake air hose on the air filter of the power-steering pump.
2. Open the power steering fluid reservoir. Collect the hydraulic oil from a tank suitable for this syringe.
3. Remove the flexible high-pressure hose (29) and the return outlet (28) and plug the connection points clean plugs. The pump and plug the high pressure hose (27).
4. Reverse drain hose (26) press a clamp suitable for this, for example, a clamp, and unscrew it. Plug the connection plug.
5. Loosen the screws (48) on the pulley belt, but do not unscrew them.
6. Remove the V-ribbed belt.
7. Unscrew bolts and remove a pulley.
8. Remove the screws (46), while holding the lower bolt from the bottom.
9. Remove the screws (46) and remove the pump.

Setting

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Screw the pump bracket.
2. Tighten the mounting force the hand pulley belt.
3. Place the V-ribbed belt.
4. Tighten the bolt 3 V-belt pulley to a torque of 30 Nm
5. Remove the cap and screw the hydraulic lines to a torque of 30 Nm about
6. Fill the tank with hydraulic oil to approximately 10 mm from the top edge. 1 second start the engine, then stop it. Add oil in the tank, the pump should not suck air. Install the oil level.
7. Adjusting the clearance: Lift the back of the car, the wheels were not loaded. Start the engine, let it run for a while, then stop. When the engine is at the correct level of oil set. Then, lower the car and load the trunk load of about 120 kg. Start the engine, set medium speed for 20 to leave the engine running. Install the oil level.
8. Place the suction hose of the air intake filter. After the test drive, check the tightness of the connection on the pump, if necessary, slightly tighten the connectors.
