Removing semiaxes / replacement of rubber cuffs
A warning Outer constant velocity joint (CV joint) - molded. Both cuffs are placed on the inside of the shaft. After a long operation is recommended to replace the cuff.

Withdrawal PERFORMANCE ORDER | 1. Remove the axle shaft. | | 2. Loosen the clamp screw, clamp snack and subsequently replace the screw. | | 3. Beat the punch shaft cover. | 4. Remove the cuff to hinge on the floor. | 5. Rag wipe the grease on the hinge. | | 6. Use the sliding slide the retaining ring pliers and remove it. | | 7. Press out the axle from the inner CV joint. To do this, use the appropriate punch (063) (length approximately 80 mm), as well as a split sleeve (063a). | | 8. The split bushing can be made independently of the said drawings. | | 9. Remove the rubber sleeve with the inner CV joint axis. | 10. If necessary, release the clamp and remove the outer sleeve through its shaft. Make sure that the hinge no dirt. Before removing the cuff, remove the grease from the inner side, and put in the constant velocity joints. If necessary, wash the inner CV joint in petrol and check the ball cage for wear. If signs of excess wear and replace the entire hinge recesses. | 11. Clean the shaft. |

Setting PERFORMANCE ORDER | | 1. Use changer cuff repair kit, which consists of a retaining ring, four clamps, a rubber sleeve, and 100 g of CF lubrication system for the hinge (1 joint). Run the car for a long period it is recommended to change once the two cuffs. Put on the shaft splines sleeve cuffs to protect against damage during assembly, and in the absence of such a sleeve, wrap adhesive tape slots. | 2. Put on the outer, then the inner sleeve. Then remove the supporting sleeve or tape. | 3. Put on the internal hinge on the floor. | 4. Clamp the axle shaft in the device or between the protective jaws at the shoulder cuff. | | 5. Fit the CV joints suitable for this punch to the stop (arrow) on the floor. | 6. Loosen the axle from the clamp. Put a new lock ring, paying attention to the correctness of its landing slot. | 7. Fill the joints and cuffs prescribed amount of fluid lubricant brand Mercedes-Fliessfett (see. | | 8. Grease the contact surface to the inner CV joint cap and rubber sealing collar, for example, Curil, Loctite 574 or Hylomar. | 9. Put on the lid and a rubber cuff. | 10. Secure the cuff with screw clamps on the half-line and constant velocity joints. On a half-cuff must be dragged and dropped over the shoulder to the CV joint. Put the shaft. A warning Screw clamps as possible should have the same direction, which sadite clamps facing each other at 180 ?� C.
