PRACTICAL ADVICE
Replacing bulbs
If you have recently replaced the lamp is no longer illuminated, this does not always mean that it burns. As a rule, older machines corrosion often prevents the passage of current to the lamp cartridge. In this case, the lamp will light up if its move in the cartridge. In this case, clean the cartridge contacts and lamps. Check the contact with the lamp holder.
Lighting probe is easy to check whether the voltage is applied to the cartridge. To do this, locate the lamp on the wiring diagram and check the chain.
If before installing the lamp, you open hands touched the glass bulb, then be sure to wipe it with a clean cloth so that the remaining traces of moisture is then evaporated with a hot lamp, resulting in opacification of the lens.
The board dash current to the lamps passes through flat copper connection paths. If originated scratch interrupts this track can be done in this place from a piece of jumper wire, solder it ends on both sides of the scratch.
