Changing the oil and oil filter



Independent oil change
You must fill in this manual for the recommended oil purchased on the bus or in a specialty store. When replacing the oil, change the oil filter. Install the filter of the engine of your car.
Changing the oil at the service station
Change the oil producing better at the bus station, where there is a special unit. The advantage of its use is that it "washes out" housing, and the replacement of oil by yourself, even changing the oil filter, you will not be able to completely clean the sludge from the crankcase and oil will still be additive.
The stations offer oil expensive brands, so it is best to buy it in advance.

SEQUENCE OF WORK

Draining
1. Preheat to operating temperature, stop the engine, let it cool for 10 minutes. The old engine oil is better to pour in hot form.

A WARNING
Hot oil may cause burns. Unscrewing the drain plug, do not remove it abruptly to avoid getting your fingers on hot oil coming under pressure.

2. Raise the vehicle and place it on the stand in a horizontal position.
3. Remove the bottom casing of the engine compartment.
4. Place a container under the drain plug to drain oil.

5. Remove the drain plug oil pan and drain the old oil (Fig. 5.22). Open the oil filler neck, it will speed up the drain.
6. Clean and inspect the plug.
7. After draining the oil drain plug wrap by installing a new gasket. Tightening torque tube: when the diameter of the thread M12 - 30 Nm, with a diameter of M14 - 25 Nm.
8. Remove the oil filter cover with the key SW74.

9. Remove the cover 1 (Fig. 5.23), the oil filter with the filter element 2. Dispose of the replaceable element.
Pouring oil
10. Lower the car.
11. Insert the new filter into the housing.
12. Tighten the cap with a new seal.
13. Pour the recommended oil according to the guidance in the amount specified in the Table. 5.4, and tighten the filler cap. Start up the engine for a short time, as long as the light goes out the emergency oil pressure. This means that the oil filter is filled and went on line.

A WARNING
A large amount of oil is also harmful to the engine as small.

14. For a final check, stop the engine and wait 5 minutes, until the oil to drain into the crankcase. After that, check the oil level by pulling the dipstick (Fig. 5.24).
15. Check whether the oil leaking from the filter and drain plug.
16. Replace the crankcase.
