Pneumatic control device

Under the rear seat to the right of the battery is installed under separate cover management mechanism of the central locking system

Working pump 1 (Fig. 10.10) of the system, which is in the battery compartment under the rear seat, has a factory designation "pneumatic control mechanism" as it performs other functions. Thus, it provides a reservoir pressure (vacuum) used to drive the adjustments orthopedic seat back, as well as air conditioning. In addition it serves to support systems utilizing the pressure of the intake system. If, for example, in the vacuum tank was reduced to 400 mbar, the pump is activated by a switch on the pressure valve and works to adjust the value of 600 mbar.
If the pump is not switched off, any of leaking systems. Depending on the equipment in the car can be set to four pneumatic mechanisms.
