Removing the brake pads handbrake



If the brake pads overheated and burnt, replace the spring information shoe pads themselves.

SEQUENCE OF WORK
1. Raise and support the vehicle and remove the rear wheel.
2. Remove the brake disc.
3. Remove the rear seat cushion.

4. Remove the center of the cover 2 (Fig. 8.25) on the automatic equalizer 4.
5. Pre-tension the equalizer, which insert the Allen key in its center and rotate about a half-turn to the right (see. Fig. 8.25). At the same time, press down to lock the eccentric spring snaps. Then, the engagement is released again with a screwdriver.

6. A large holes in the flange shaft rear wheel drive release both springs 1 (Fig. 8.26) brake pads 2 and 5 and the lower return spring.
7. Release the recoil spring from the bottom of the brake pads, spread them apart and remove the spring.
8. Loosen the spring adjusting device, disconnect and remove their shoes.
9. Prior to assembly, which takes place in the reverse order, apply copper grease to the corresponding support and sliding surface and the threads of the adjustment mechanism.
10. Assemble and install the brake.
11. If there is uncertainty in the assembly in the correct position of the pieces and remove the brake disc from the other rear wheel drives and compare.
12. Release the tension equalizer (as described above).
13. Adjust the parking brake.
